INTERACTIVE DIGITAL MEDIA ON STAGE
From November 17 to 25, 2008.
Public presentation: November 22 at 6pm, L’Animal a l’esquena.
As part of our activities aimed at promoting the theory and practice of the use of interactive digital media in performance projects, NU2’s is organising a new international lab for artists from various disciplines interested in sharing, analysing and developing ideas based on projects currently in progress.
Participants must be working on a project or want to develop a system that implies working with the body and the performer’s movement, regardless of whether the artist or group comes from the field of choreography, music or visual arts. A team of highly experienced professionals, programmers, choreographers and stage directors will help participants in their research and work towards bringing the projects to fruition.
The Laboratory is organised by NU2’s in collaboration with l’Animal a l’esquena, in the framework of the Euroregional project Corpus Media.
Registration is free, and the organisers will cover the costs of accommodation and meals for participating artists. Interested artists should contact NU2’s by sending an email to info@nu2s.org, and a decision will be made based on the project and previous work by the artist’s. Information.
Have a look at other images and videos of the laboratory.

After Our Political Work, which is one of my favorite MTAA pieces, the artists start their new project Automatic for the people: (), commissioned by the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art as part of The Art of Participation: 1950 to Now, today.
You can dictate the details of a contemporary art performance. Each week, from November 8–January 21, vote in a new poll to determine different elements. On February 7, the artists perform live using the script shaped by your votes!
VOTE!
