Pendant 30 minutes je me suis abandonnée aux manipulations des personnes qui avaient acceptées de me porter, de me mettre en apesanteur. La performance n’était pas seulement une imitation d’un voyage dans l’espace et un exercice en auto organisation, mais aussi un rêve d’enfant réalisé. Merci à tous ceux qui l’ont rendu possible.

For 30 minutes I surrendered to the manipulations of those who had accepted to carry me, to put me in weightless position. The performance was not only an imitation of a journey through space and an exercise in self-organization, but also a childhood dream come true. Thanks to all who made this possible.

“My video documentation winds up being higher fidelity and more
intentionally synchronized than the original performance. There are
all sorts of very strange questions that arise in terms of the
synchronization. If I synch up Annie’s audio track from France with
the background arrival of her audio in the US, is that a “correct”
synchronization, or am I re-ordering the flow of time after the fact?
As I have been trying to synch everything up, sometimes the “arrival”
of Annie’s sound in my US audio will come before the “launch” of her
sound in the France audio — a kind of impossible, prophetic
re-rendering of time.
