How do we make sense of the resultant cacophony of our networked actions as they independently traverse the channels of our collective media space?
13 Different approaches united in one interface, where you can choose what / who to watch, listen to, where you are the mixer.
Who are my partners in this experiment? What does it mean to them to collectively conceive, to collaborate, to participate? What happens when you are aggregated? Can facebook also be a social space? Who are those facebookfriends I am streaming for? Do they also have agency? (how when, where) Who are my co-broadcasters? Are we doing something together? How will the local relate to the global? Can I reach someone? What will become of attention? Can I resist the flux, the stream, the spectacle, the show …

Who are you? – Let’s not forget this is an experiment and an experience.
Art is not an end in itself.
Nobody called. It was a quite lonely endeavour. I ended up watching a lot of Curts stream, singing along with it and playing with Daniel and Lisa (without them knowing it). Nevertheless the archive was fantastic – great to have seen all these different approaches. Here is my broadcast:
Floating with Curt: 16:10 36:40 45:20 52:45-57:20 1:10:40-1:15:55 1:27:10 Playing with Daniel and Lisa: 1:17:00-1:26:00
“Only through questioning, probing, getting dirty, and embracing the messiness of online behavior, can we even come close to any kind of understanding of what lies ahead of us in our mediated lives. That is why the work of Annie Abrahams, along with the other intrepid artist-investigators of the Net, is so crucial to our survival amidst the encroachment of the telematic embrace.”
And here is the recording of the interview : performance as reality – performance is reality.
